IT Resolution Ltd are certified to Cyber Essentials Basic & Cyber Essentials PLUS. We have also assisted a number of our clients with achieving certification to Cyber Essentials Basic & Cyber Essentials PLUS.
Cyber Essentials BASIC Certification
This certification is the only UK Government cyber certification - created for SMEs to reduce their risk to the most common cyber-attacks (by 80%).
By achieving Cyber Essentials, you will reassure your clients that you take security seriously. You can then further increase your cybersecurity by moving up to Cyber Essentials Plus.
There are several routes to achieving Cyber Essentials Certification through ourselves and our partners.
Solo
The ‘solo’ route as it suggests has no form of assistance. You will simply receive the question set and submit it when ready. Note that you have ‘one free fail’ but beyond this you will have to face re-certification costs.
Guided
The ‘Guided’ route offers you assessment and remedial guidance from ourselves and our cybersecurity partners, along with help guides, to help assure a first-time pass.
Managed
We recommend the ‘Managed’ route. This route offers direct real-time step-by-step support from our experts & Partners over video call. This option offers the fastest method of certification.
Cyber Essentials PLUS Certification
The Cyber Essentials BASIC certification is a good first step, but there is no independent verification. Cyber Essentials PLUS involves us and our expert cybersecurity partner, checking that you are aligned with all the important security controls. We always recommend the ‘Cyber Essentials Plus with Assured Pass’ option, allowing any security gaps to be identified and remediated after practice scans, ensuring a pass when it comes to the actual Plus assessment itself.
The Cyber Essentials Plus process is completely streamlined, so you can have peace of mind that you’re in expert hands, and assessments are fully remote (including homeworkers) thanks to our partner’s proprietary technology.
Get certified to the Cyber Essentials Plus standard with help from our partner and their specially qualified auditors. If you choose not to have ourselves assist and go straight to assessment, there will be a single opportunity for a pass or fail result, which could lead to re-certification costs.
